As the new owners settle in at the Arroyo Golf Course a plan of action emerges to improve the turf and drainage on the last three holes of the golf course. The improvements are estimated to cost around $300,000 and will result in better turf consistency that will greatly enhance the quality and strength of the grass on the back end of the Arroyo.
On a tour of the 16th-18th holes, I was impressed at the progress and the improvements, the changes are so dramatic that I can’t wait to play the Arroyo after the upgrade. The entire first half of the 16th hole has been completed and looks great, work will begin on the 17th hole soon after, with the entire project set to be completed by March 1, 2008.
If you’re planning a golf trip to Las Vegas in March through May, I invite you to book the Arroyo Golf Course at Red Rock Country Club. With the investment being made to improve the golf course, it’s already on my top Las Vegas Golf Courses to play this Spring Season.
